Cooped up
I've felt cooped up the past few weeks, but today I feel Spring is very much on the way. Walks are my thing but I guess we've all had enough of being in doors, so the lighter days will make all the difference.
I'm working on several Shopify projects, one large one who's start has been delayed but I hope to be able to get on with that next week. There isn't much point starting until I have what I need, although the mock up has been approved.
The second site is partly started, it involved adding some more click through menu tabs to a current site but behind the scenes building the client a new site. This is in the early stages as I await the clients newly revampted branding. Again until I have that it seems pointless doing too much as this may well determine a slightly different path.
The third project is for an local engineering firm, the new logo has ben agreed which I designed as part of the over all project. Having had a good look at what the client wanted, I suggested he updated his very out of date logo, this was very quick and easy. We start this smaller project next week as I await a few images, apart from that it will be a 'like for like' copy of the old website just much simpler, cleaner and sharper.
While all this ticks along we have our usual social media posts we design for an array of clients and behind the scenes I'm working on a brand new project for myself. I'm hoping to launch that in March, some time... but if it takes longer that's fine, I'm just waiting for new samples to arrive, bright and colourful is the way forward... Unrelated to the new project, I decided to brighten up my days at work with a couple of bespoke QUACK sweatshirts.
